Installing an eSIM on your Android phone is simple and quick. Follow this step-by-step guide to activate your Roamaly eSIM using a QR code.
Step 1: Check Compatibility
Before you begin, make sure that:
✅ Your Android phone supports eSIM
✅ Your phone is carrier-unlocked
✅ You have a second device or a printed copy to display the QR code OR you have saved the QR code to your photo roll
✅ You have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)

Step 2: Install Your eSIM Using a QR Code
1️⃣ Open Settings
- Navigate to Settings on your phone.
2️⃣ Access Network & Internet
- Tap Network & Internet (or Connections on some devices).
- Select SIMs or Mobile Network.
- Tap the + (Add a Network) button.
3️⃣ Choose eSIM Installation Option
- On the "Connect to Mobile Network" page, tap Download a SIM instead?
- Tap Next to proceed.
4️⃣ Scan the QR Code
- Your camera will launch automatically.

- Once the QR code is scanned, your phone will display the carrier name.
- Tap Download to start the eSIM installation process.
- This may take a couple of minutes.
Step 3: Activate Your eSIM
After installation:
- Go back to Settings > Mobile Network (or SIMs).
