Roamaly vs Saily — UK and Europe Prices, Unlimited and Coverage, Side by Side

What Saily showed a UK visitor on 1 November 2026, beside what Roamaly sells, read from our catalogue. Each figure in its own currency, dated, and unconverted.

2 November 20269 min read

Saily is one of the newer names you will meet when you shop for a travel eSIM, and it turns up for the big destination searches.

How this page was made. Saily's site blocks automated reading, so we did not scrape it and we did not guess. A person on our team opened saily.com in an ordinary browser on 1 November 2026 and read seven things from it, as shown to a visitor in the United Kingdom, in pounds sterling. Our own figures come from our catalogue, in US dollars, with the date we read them. This page converts no currency: each figure stays in the currency and on the date it was read, so compare them in your own.

What we read on saily.com, and when

All seven were read on saily.com on 1 November 2026, with prices as shown to a visitor in the United Kingdom, in pounds sterling:

  • United Kingdom: from £3.49, for 1 GB over 7 days.
  • Europe: from £3.99, for 1 GB over 7 days.
  • On the Europe page, the per-country "from" prices run from £1.49 to £3.99.
  • An "Unlimited GB" plan: £38.49 for 15 days on the Europe page, and £37.49 for 15 days on the UK page. Saily's own page defines it as 5 GB a day at full speed, then unlimited at up to 1 Mbps.
  • The Europe plan's country list: 35 countries.
  • The Global plan's country list: 121 countries.
  • Activation period: 180 days, the time allowed between purchase and first use, as their page states it.

Everything else about Saily is on their own site, and that is where to read it.

What Roamaly sells, dated

Two shapes. A Day Pass gives you a daily allowance at full speed, for however many days you choose. A fixed bundle gives you a total valid for a period, pooled across the trip.

As of 2 November 2026, Roamaly's United Kingdom plans run from $1 to $56: 5 day passes from $1 a day, 15 fixed bundles from $1, and no unlimited plan.

As of 2 November 2026, Roamaly's Europe plans run from $2 to $73: 5 day passes from $2 a day, 10 fixed bundles from $2, and no unlimited plan.

Unlimited, and what each side sells instead

Roamaly does not sell unlimited data. Saily does: its "Unlimited GB" plan is 5 GB a day at full speed, then unlimited at up to 1 Mbps (saily.com, 1 Nov 2026).

Our nearest shape is the Day Pass. On a Day Pass you get full speed up to the day's allowance, then a reduced speed for the rest of the day (the speed is printed on each plan's page), and the full allowance is back the next day; you are not cut off. On a fixed bundle the total is for the whole period; when it is used up the data stops, and you can top up from your dashboard without a new eSIM.

If you want several gigabytes every day and would rather never think about it, that is what their plan is built for. If you know roughly what you use, an allowance is priced for that.

Compare the country lists, not the counts

Saily's Europe plan lists 35 countries (saily.com, 1 Nov 2026). Ours lists 34 (read 2 November 2026): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

A count that differs by one tells you very little. What matters is whether every country on your route is on the list. Ours is above, and it includes the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Türkiye and Ukraine, none of which are in the EU. Theirs is on their Europe page.

And the thing that is not in our favour: we hold five reviews sitewide and no Trustpilot profile at all. Every established provider in this category has thousands. If you choose between unfamiliar companies on review volume, that is a real reason to look elsewhere, and it is the honest state of our brand today rather than a thing we are hiding at the bottom of a page.

The four questions to ask any eSIM provider

These four decide it, in the order they matter. They take about three minutes on anyone's site.

  1. What is the limit, and is it a number or a policy? A stated allowance tells you where you stand. "Unlimited with fair use" means the real limit is in the terms, and the terms are worth finding before you buy.
  2. How many countries does one plan cover, and which? A count is marketing; a list is information. Ours is a list — 34 named countries on one Europe plan, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, which are not in the EU.
  3. Can you buy and manage it without installing an app? Ours works entirely in a browser, with the QR code by email.
  4. What happens when the data runs out? On a Day Pass you get full speed up to the day's allowance, then a reduced speed for the rest of the day (the speed is printed on each plan's page), and the full allowance is back the next day; you are not cut off. On a fixed bundle the total is for the whole period; when it is used up the data stops, and you can top up from your dashboard without a new eSIM. Saily's "Unlimited GB" drops to up to 1 Mbps after 5 GB a day (1 Nov 2026).

Ask us those four and the answers are above. Ask any provider those four and you will learn more than any comparison article can tell you — including this one.

Where Roamaly is the stronger choice

  • Both plan shapes from one provider, so the plan can match an uneven trip instead of the other way round.
  • One Europe plan covering 34 named countries, checkable against the list on the destination page.
  • No app required at any point.
  • A limit you know before you buy, daily or total.
  • Returns and delivery terms published in our structured data — which, of the providers we were able to measure, none of them emit.

Where we would not argue with you for buying elsewhere

  • You want unlimited data. We sell none; Saily sells an "Unlimited GB" plan, described above.
  • You choose on review volume. We have five reviews and no Trustpilot profile.
  • You want a local phone number. Our travel eSIMs are data-only; your own number stays live on your home SIM.
  • Your phone cannot take an eSIM, or is carrier-locked. Then the choice is made for you — check first. Check if your phone is compatible

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Roamaly cheaper than Saily?

Here are both, each as read and unconverted. United Kingdom: Saily from £3.49 for 1 GB over 7 days (saily.com, 1 Nov 2026); Roamaly from $1 for 500 MB, and $2 for 1 GB over 7 days (our catalogue, 2 Nov 2026). Europe: Saily from £3.99 for 1 GB over 7 days (saily.com, 1 Nov 2026); Roamaly $2 for 1 GB over 7 days (our catalogue, 2 Nov 2026). This page converts no currency, so compare them in your own, at today's rate.

Does Roamaly sell unlimited data?

No. Not one plan on our United Kingdom or Europe lists is unlimited (2 November 2026). The nearest shapes on each side: Saily's "Unlimited GB" is 5 GB a day at full speed, then up to 1 Mbps (saily.com, 1 Nov 2026). On a Day Pass you get full speed up to the day's allowance, then a reduced speed for the rest of the day (the speed is printed on each plan's page), and the full allowance is back the next day; you are not cut off.

Do I need an app?

No. Buying, installing and managing all happen in a browser, and the QR code arrives by email.

Can I run two providers' eSIMs on one phone?

Yes. Modern phones hold several eSIM profiles and you choose which carries data — a sensible way to try a new provider on a trip where your usual one already works.

How do I compare any two eSIM providers fairly?

Ask both the four questions above, and compare equivalent things: a daily allowance against a daily allowance, a total bundle against a total bundle, and the country list rather than the country count.
